Cartoon Strip Course
Create Your Own Cartoon Strip Course
Would you like to be able to create your own cartoon strip?
And not just a one-off but on a regular basis?
People love cartoons, they catch the eye and zoom in on them straightaway when they view a page.
Of course there are a bazillion and one cartoons all over the net, including an estimated 178,685,765 featuring cats. (I don’t have a source for that figure, but it kind of feels right to me)
There’s only one cartoon that you create yourself.
Among the endless reams of cartoons, your own ones will stand out as your audience will know that you’ve created them - and there’s something very special in that.
Single-panel gag cartoons are ever popular and a lot of fun, but they don’t enable you to tell a story in the same way that a strip cartoon consisting of two of three panels does.
Not only can you tell a story, but you can tell an ongoing story that keeps your readers coming back for more. And that’s really neat if you’re running your own business or looking to entertain your readers on social media. It’s still neat if you’re simply looking to draw just to share with friends and family.
We’ve all got our own particular strip with it’s cast of characters that we’ve grown to know and like, and have followed their adventures - whether big or small - over time.
As someone who likes drawing, you might have even thought about trying to draw your own strip but were put off by the seeming too much work to do.
A prize-winning flower bed is eaten one bloom at a time.
Although it looks like a fun task initially, It seems kind of daunting - the idea of creating a cartoon strip.
But what if the challenge of creating a strip cartoon could be broken down into simple steps, bite-sized chunks of drawing to handle one piece at a time?
Of course, it’s not just being shown how to do something, but actually getting down to doing it. This is where the support of others in really useful and creates a sense of accountability, as well as a unique chance to share ideas and cheer each other along.
It would be cool to have a step by step easy to follow process to help you to put it all together.

What do other people say about Rob and his courses?
I’d recommend this course to anyone who does anything creative
I loved how Rob broke everything down into simple blocks. I tend to spend all my time concentrating on getting technically good {at cartooning} so coming up with ideas was just another (hard) thing to do. Rob made it much easier.
I gained a new skill involving creativity. I now have some techniques I can use whenever I’m stuck for ideas — and not just in cartooning, but everything. It also meant I kept drawing, because when I’m busy, that’s the first thing to slide. Then I miss it.
I’d recommend this course to anyone who does anything creative, for fun or for business. Especially artists and cartoonists, but writers and musicians too, would benefit. Because idea generation is incredibly important, but it’s not something we tend to focus on without a push.
Everything is creative, even the most mundane-seeming stuff. But coming up with ideas is super-difficult…

Rob creates an atmosphere that is both fun and relaxing
Before each section he explains the purpose of the exercise and the importance of the small details.
He takes time to listen and address each question.
Even though I’m not the most talented artist I could gain confidence in my drawings.
